In a heartfelt homage to the illustrious legacy of motor racing’s pinnacle form of car racing worldwide, the “Celebrating 75 Years of Formula 1” calendar from RacingVintageCars.com presents a stunning selection of twelve of the most iconic racecars ever to grace planet earth. These cars, shown in the fury of action at world class racetracks, are millisecond photographic captures of Formula 1 competition in its purest essence – representing F1 racing of the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s – the halcyon decades that defined this incredible real-time high speed theatre that began in 1950 and takes place in earnest today.

Initially officialized by Europe’s Federation Internationale de l’Automobile [FIA] in 1946, the engine/chassis/body engineering formula that established “Formula 1” governed its first World Championship race on May 13th 1950, at Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom. This event, won by then-worshipped Giuseppe Farina in an Alfa Romeo, was the first in a multi-race season of Grand Prix events that led to Giuseppe and Alfa Romeo’s capture of the first-ever Formula 1 World Championship. A tradition of seasonal Formula 1 racing that crowned an annual champion resulted, and 75 years later the legacy of the Formula Grand Prix lives on. This grand tradition is memorialized in the “Celebrating 75 Years of Formula 1” calendar.

Each and every month of the calendar features a generously large-sized feature photograph of an iconic Formula 1 car in all-out action, with support photos and narrative that enhance the significance of the photo and its timeless racing history.

All twelve months of the calendar offer a new and powerfully visual Formula 1 experience for the whole month, freshening the calendar user’s racing passion every day, week and month with the power, majesty and history of all that is the best of Formula 1 racing in our diverse motorsports world.
