As a multi-decade photographer of all types of motorsport and car racing, Albert Wong’s special powers of observation and planning quietly put him in the right spot at just the right time, event after event. Whether Indy Cars, sports cars, USAC Sprint Cars and Midgets, or historic racecars of all categories, Albert knows where to capture the essence of the subject and significance of the moment. “I started very young with my family in Hong Kong,” he shares, “when we got a camera and I documented all the things we did and all the places we went.” Once in the USA, Albert’s years of photographing the cars of AAR at wide ranging race events started him on a life path of dedication to motorsports photography.
